What is Telegram Bot ?

  • A Telegram bot is a account that does not require an additional phone number to be set up.
  • Telegram bots are automated software created by developers.
  • Technically, Telegram bots are the third-party applications running inside Telegram. When a user sends a message to a Telegram bot, Telegram's intermediary server takes care of the encryption and communication with the help of Telegram bot APIs.
  • There is no limit to create telegram bots because telegram is an open source plateform.

How telegram Bot works ?

    Telegram Bots are special accounts that do not require an additional phone number to set up. Users can interact with bots in two ways:
    • User send messages and commands to bots by opening a chat with them or by adding them to groups.
    • User send requests directly from the input field by typing the bot's @username and a query. This allows sending content from inline bots directly into any chat, group or channel.
    Messages, commands and requests sent by users are passed to the software running on telegram servers. Telegram intermediary server handles all encryption and communication with the Telegram API for users. A user communicate with this server via a simple HTTPS-interface that offers a simplified version of the Telegram API. That interface  is called  Bot API.

    How to create your first telegram bot  ?

    There is a father of all bots available on telegram named BotFather. 
    BotFather is the one bot to rule them all. It will help you create new bots and change settings for existing ones.
    creating a new bot - 

    • In your telegram app search for botfather , a profile with blue tick will be shown
    • open profile and click on start.
    • Use the /newbot command to create a new bot. The BotFather will ask you for a name and username, then generate an authorization token for your new bot.
    • After /newbot command > you have to choose bot name > now choose a unique username ending with bot (e.g-  xtechwingbot)
